Does anybody know some little known bands?

I'm constantly looking for new music, but I wanna stray away from the well known bands. I love finding bands that never really made it into the charts but are still great to listen to, if you know what I mean. Like just through research I have found Scratch Acid, Flipper, Streetlight Manifesto, the Melvins, The Theory of Funkativity, Daniel Johnston, Soul of the River, Bikini Kill, The Dandy Warhols, Fugazi. I'm really looking for anything in the "Rock" genre, but I'm really open to any sub-genres of rock. I appreciate your help. Thank you
