Can I use crazy glue to fix my retainer?

It's kinda like a retainer, it's called a flipper. It's basically a retainer with a fake tooth attatched to it (i got my front tooth knocked out) and the tooth broke off of it a week ago. The dentist used acrylic and bonded it on again, and the acrylic started to dissolve. This morning the acrylic was almost gone and it felt like it was two seconds away from snapping off, so I took it to the dentist and he re-inforced it with crazy glue. Now the crazy glue wore off. Should I crazy glue to do re-inforce it again? They don't want to make a new one because i'm getting a permanent fake tooth next week, but this thing isn't going to last at all. I've already had it since november >_>
