Did you know that Larry the Cable Guy's "Southern accent" is as phoney as his name?

His name is Daniel Lawrence Whitney and he is from Nebraska. The Southern accent is completely put-on, i.e., affected for the stage, yet he uses it all the time, lest he forget on stage and use his REAL manner of speaking. Just curious as to what you think of him or his humor.
