Will I have to separate my baby musk turtles?

I've just caught them fighting, the slightly bigger one (Gus) was hanging on to Dexter (The slightly smaller one) by his back foot/flipper. I had to get him off before any serious damage was done. This is the first time i've seen them fight in the 4 weeks I've had them. What should I do?
