Under socialism the goal is social justice is it not?

So then let me ask you progressives a question... I am going out on a limb here but I am going to assume many of you are in some sort of higher learning college or university to get a degree. I suspect for some to be lawyers, doctors and the like. So, under socialism how would you feel putting in all that hard work and time and only get paid the same wage as the burger flippers at McDonald's?
